I’m New Here

We look forward to meeting you.

Friendly Faces at the Welcome Centre

Inside the front lobby of the church, staff at the Welcome Centre desk would love to greet you and help point you in the right direction.

On Sundays, our pastors and ministry team members wear name tags with bright yellow lanyards around their necks—so you can easily spot them. Please feel free to ask them any questions you may have about the church.

Sundays at The Peoples Church

We gather for three identical Sunday services in the auditorium: 9:15 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM.

Our services typically include a time of worshipping God through songs and prayer—and we periodically celebrate communion and baptism as well. We then have time of teaching from the Bible. If you have a Bible, please bring it along—and if not, please ask us if you would like help to get one. You can even download a free Bible app.

At the same times as our services, our Children’s Ministry meets in the West Wing, to your left and down the hall after you enter the front lobby. Each room is designated by age for infants through 12 years old.

Other Sunday activities can be viewed on the Church Calendar.

Newcomers Network

If you are new to Canada, please visit our Newcomers Network page for information and resources to help you settle in.

If you’re new to church, haven’t been to church in a while or just having trouble getting connected at Peoples, we invite you to join us in the Café following the third service on the last Sunday of every month.

Getting Here By Car or Transit

The church is located on Sheppard Avenue between Yonge and Bayview.

Simply click if you need driving and parking directions. On Sundays, onsite parking is at a premium so please plan to arrive in good time for the services. As you enter our parking lot, please take a moment to introduce yourself to the attendant and they will help you.

We also provide offsite parking and bus service to and from the offsite location.

The church is also easily accessible by subway and bus routes that connect the Greater Toronto Area.

Our Church Facility

Once inside the front entrance of the church, the auditorium is directly past the Welcome Centre desk—or you may go up the stairs to the balcony.

From the lobby, take the left hallway to find the West Wing and Founder’s Hall. Take the right hallway to get to the Youth Booth, the Café, the Gymnasium and East Wing.

At first, you may find our facility a bit confusing, so if you need directions, just ask.

For More Information

In addition to exploring our website, you can pick up our weekly bulletin and monthly Together booklet at the church. The website and print materials offer similar information, so you can choose the format you prefer.

You can follow along on Facebook and Twitter too, and enjoy many resources available through Vibrant, our online community website.

To receive church news by email, please subscribe to our email list, which is used only by The Peoples Church, with respect for your privacy and preferences.
