Love Your Neighbour as Yourself
Throughout the Greater Toronto Area, we have neighbours from all nations. Our multicultural city is a mission field in which we share the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.
Who is My Neighbour?
As you ask yourself this question, you can show the love of Jesus simply by befriending and praying for those who live on your block or in your apartment building.
And you will likely discover ‘neighbours’ in all kinds of places as God opens your eyes to the needs of others.
For ideas and encouragement, you can join our Facebook community of ‘good neighbours’ who are seeking to be mission-minded in their daily lives and relationships.

Individuals, families and Life Groups are encouraged to serve with other churches in Toronto in specific ministry areas. Pastors and ministry leaders from these congregations identify their needs and extend volunteer opportunities to our congregation.

The Peoples Church serves in partnership with various ministry organizations active in the Greater Toronto Area to address these mission initiatives:
- Advancing gospel frontiers by supporting evangelism, Bible studies, church planting and community development among people groups who have not yet had the opportunity to hear or experience the gospel.
- Defending human dignity by providing compassion, rescue and rehabilitation through Christian ministries to those who have suffered due to slavery or trafficking.
- Developing healthy communities by delivering food, medical care and education through Christian ministries to women and children in vulnerable situations due to poverty.

Hosts and Cars for Missionaries
Our annual DNA Conference is only a few months away! This means many of our missionaries will be visiting Toronto to share news of the work they are doing in other parts of the world. During their visit, our missionaries will need our support in the following ways:
Hosting: Please note that individuals/families are not required to host our missionaries for the entire duration of the conference. Most of our missionaries are scheduled to stay for 1 week.
Lending a car: Some of our missionaries will need access to a vehicle throughout their stay in Toronto.

Refugees have left their homes and countries to escape persecution and oppression. We want them to feel God’s loving presence as they seek a life of dignity and peace. By partnering with Christian refugee shelters, our ministry team initiates regular times of connection with refugee claimants:
• Adam House (430 Gladstone Avenue)
Every first Friday of the month
• Matthew House (981 Dundas St. W)
Every third Friday of the month
Join the refugee ministry team and hear the stories of refugee claimants as they seek to find a new home and new hope in Canada. If interested, please contact Pastor Nestor Abdon.
