Worship & Teaching

Worship Arts

We come together with many talents, but one voice, one heart, one mind.

What it Really Means to Worship God

The greatest definition of worship includes offering our whole lives to Christ.  When we live that way, worship overflows in praise as people of all ages and walks of life come together before God with one voice, one heart, one mind.

As artists at The Peoples Church, we can use our talents to help people express their love for God in many ways—certainly including music and spoken word, but also drama, dance, video, visual arts and much more.

Special Celebrations

Every year at Peoples we combine the creative talents of all who serve with us to present special celebrations for our church and community:

MERGE Worship Night

Friday, June 2 • 7:30 PM • Auditorium

This church-wide event gives us the opportunity to gather together and lift our voices in songs of praise and thankfulness to our amazing God. Mark your calendars for our next MERGE Worship Night! We’ll be featuring The Peoples Church Choir and some very special guests. Join us with your family and friends!

Christmas

We highlight this season with special events and services. We embrace the creative contributions of artists from within our church and community. We encourage you to invite your friends and neighbours to these events, especially those who may be new to The Peoples Church!

Easter

Each year, we endeavor to tell the Easter story using a variety of artistic mediums. Our Good Friday services are a time where we recall, reflect on, and respond to the events surrounding Jesus’ trial, death, and burial. Our Easter Sunday services are upbeat, uplifting gatherings where we celebrate that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is alive!
