A CONVERSATION ON COMPASSION
Join us for the final Sunday of our Global Mission Conference as we focus on compassion.
What does it means to be moved like Jesus and respond with love in a broken world?
Throughout the life of Jesus, we see that when He encountered people in need, He was moved with compassion, and He acted. What moves us toward others shapes how we love them.
We’re also honoured to welcome our global partner, Christianne, who serves in Southeast Asia, as we hear how compassion is lived out around the world.
Come ready to be encouraged and inspired to not only see differently—but to love differently.
GUEST SPEAKER – Christianne Montaniel
Christianne was born to first-generation Filipino immigrants and grew up in the Greater Toronto Area. With a background in community services, education, and nursing, her journey has been shaped by a heart to serve others in practical, holistic and compassionate ways.
Since 2021, Christianne has been living and serving in Southeast Asia, walking alongside people living in an urban community. She is passionate about seeing diverse individuals come together to experience healing, restoration, and hope in community.
Today, Christianne also serves as the co-leader of a team of vocational, cross-cultural workers within the country where they work. Together, they seek to grow in their discipleship to Jesus, build relationships, and be part of the long-term work of transformation in the various communities they’re called to.
