If you have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are few people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. We understand that there are other losses in life that create feelings of grief such as a job loss, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or the loss of friends because of a move. This grief is real, but it is not the kind of grief discussed in GriefShare sessions.
Participants are welcome to register and begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle.
*There is a $25 book cost for the course. Once you have registered, you can pick up your book at our Connection Centre or have your book shipped to your address for an additional $10.
We do not want finances to be a barrier to participate in GriefShare. We offer limited scholarships on an individual basis. Have other questions? Please fill out our Digital Connect Card so we can connect with you.
