Why This Day Matters
Jesus didn’t describe a small or one-dimensional mission. In Luke 4, Jesus spoke of good news for the poor, freedom for the captive, sight for the blind, and release for the oppressed. That’s a whole gospel for the whole world—and it’s a mission we’re invited to join.
This workshop is designed to help us:
- Deepen our understanding of justice, compassion, and evangelism—together
- Learn directly from our global partners
- Build relationships across our church family
- Reflect, discuss, and discern how God is calling us to live sent
What to Expect
This is a highly interactive day built around worship, learning, and conversation.
The Flow of the Day
- 9:30 am – Check in
- 9:45 am – Worship
- 10:15 am – Session #1*
- 11:30 am – Session #2*
- 12:30 pm – Lunch included
- 1:30 pm – Session #3*
- 2:40 pm – Learnings & Prayer
- 3:00 pm – Goodbye
*Three interactive sessions focused on:
- Justice
- Compassion
- Evangelism
- Each session includes:
- A 15-minute partner testimony of what they see God doing
- 30+ minutes of guided table conversation with partners and fellow TPCers
- You’ll rotate through all three sessions (2x am, 1x pm) in 3 cohorts.

- TPC volunteers and ministry leaders, staff and board members
- Our global and local partners
It’s a way for us to honour our volunteers, deepen relationships, and equip one another to live out the gospel in both word and deed.
