… the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
From Ezekiel 37:1-14
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of [dry] bones… he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” … I answered, “O Lord GOD, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD… ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live… you shall live, and you shall know that I am the LORD.’” So I prophesied as I was commanded… they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
‘Thus says the Lord God, “…I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live… you shall know that I am the LORD; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the LORD.’”
Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” So they removed the stone… He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.”
…tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw… all that had happened… [they] exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
Living God, You breathe life into your creation and, by the glorious power of Your Holy Spirit, You breathe Life eternal into Your Church. Call forth LIFE in us! Awaken us to recognize and listen to Your voice! Empower us to preach Life to the dying. Awake the nations to know that You are God, You are Life!

From Nehemiah 8:10&12
“Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” … And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.
When your words came, I ate them;
they were my joy and my heart’s delight,
for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
… let all who take refuge in you be glad;
let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away.
Lord God Almighty, You are the Source and the strength of our joy! As we grow in our knowledge and understanding of Your Word, we come to know You. We learn to trust Your goodness and surrender to Your design and Your purpose. Unleash Your JOY in us as You satisfy us with the goodness of You; let that joy spill over into service and giving to others. Let the whole world hear our JOY!!

Genesis 17:6 & Exodus 1:7
I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you…
…the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, multiplied and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.
John 15:4, 16
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me…I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit…
… the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.
… you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.
… a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…
Father God, You plant Your Word in our hearts and minds. Nurture the seed of Your Word so that it takes root and becomes established and mature for Your glory and for the salvation of many. As we abide in You and You abide in us, reign in our lives in order that we would bear FRUIT for You; produce in us a harvest of goodness, righteousness and truth. And please, Father, include us in Your harvest of souls as we intercede for them, as we speak of the Truth to them, and as we live out our faith before them.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for darkness…
2 Corinthians 6:14
… For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
2 Corinthians 4:6-7
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life…
John 8:12 & from Matthew 5:14-16
Jesus spoke… “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
“You are the light of the world …let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Father of lights, nothing shadows You. Shine Your Light in our hearts and cleanse us, by the washing of Your Word, so that we would clearly reflect You. Ignite the LIGHT of the knowledge of Your glory to burn deep in us and illuminate the darkness. Through us, make Christ known to the nations.

One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.
Psalm 29:2; Psalm 90:17; Psalm 96:6; Psalm 96:9
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name;
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands.
Honor and majesty are before Him;
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth.
From Isaiah 61:1-3
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me…to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted… to comfort all who mourn,
To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
1 Peter 3:4
Do not let your adornment be merely outward…
let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
Lord God, captivate us with Your beauty! Transform us for Your honour and the glory due Your Name. Invite BEAUTY and strength to reflect You from the hidden person of our hearts ~ Your sanctuary ~ by the power of Your indwelling Spirit. Let Your transformation of our lives ~ from the inside out ~ reveal Your beauty and glorify You.

“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people, …to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. …present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.
2 Corinthians 6:16-7:1
For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them and walk among them.
I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it… Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Lord God, forgive us for taking Your holiness so lightly. Teach us to live in awe of Your mercy and Your grace… to hate sin. Remind us often that, in Your wisdom and perfection, You have designed each one of us. You know how we should then live. By Your Spirit, enable us to live surrendered to You in the fearless freedom of HOLINESS and righteousness.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Psalm 26:7; Psalm 69:30; Psalm 116:17
That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving,
And tell of all Your wondrous works.
I will praise the name of God with a song,
And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And will call upon the name of the Lord.
… behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying:
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly his name.
Lamb of God, Your life was the cost of our salvation! Astound us anew with the perfection of Your obedience, the depth of Your mercy, the abundance of Your grace and the greatness of Your love. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
1 John 4:7-12
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
1 John 3:16-18
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
Lord Jesus, You died (and were raised again) so that we might know the love of God. And now, Your love compels us to live for You ~ selflessly. Perfect Your LOVE in us so the world will know that we belong to You. Make us aware of ways that we can lay down our lives for each other so that everyone will know that we are Your disciples; You are the One we watch, we listen to and we imitate. Thank You that You abide in us and we abide in You; our dependence is on You to reveal Yourself as You live in us and love people through us.

2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts…
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
2 Peter 1:2
May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
For He Himself is our peace…
Let me hear what God the Lord will speak,
for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints;
Jesus, You are our Peace and our Prince of Peace. And You are at peace. Thank You that, in You, we can live at peace… peace with God and peace with each other. We are listening… help us pay holy attention to Your voice speaking peace to our hearts and minds. Grow our PEACE through the knowledge of You; for to know You is to trust You, and to trust You is perfect peace. Engage us often in Your ministry of peace and reconciliation to which we have called and with which we have been entrusted. ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;

From Zechariah 4:6&10
“This is the word of the Lord…
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.
“… For who has despised the day of small things? …”
2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful…
He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,
The spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The spirit of counsel and strength,
The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
From Isaiah 30:15
For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said,
“…In quietness and trust is your strength.”
From Isaiah 40:31
… those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength…
From 1 Peter 4:11
…whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Mighty God! We worship You!! Our trust is in You ~ Your wisdom, Your faithfulness and Your strength. Quiet our hearts and our minds as we bow down and wait on You. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head…
It is like the dew of Hermon
Coming down upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever.
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. … The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.
From Ephesians 4
I…urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. … And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit: Three-in-One. (A glorious mystery!) You invite us into Your perfect one-ness; but we are so prone to the pride of self. Help us not to neglect the unity of faith that reflects You and protects us. Remind us of how precious and vital our UNITY is to You; lead us to maturity in our knowledge of You for unity of the faith.

And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”
… “A certain moneylender had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he cancelled the debt of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon answered, “The one, I suppose, for whom he cancelled the larger debt.” And he said to him, “You have judged rightly.” Then turning toward the woman he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.” And he said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
All of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
From 2 Corinthians 7:9-11
… you were grieved into repenting. …godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced in you…
2 Timothy 2:24-26
…the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind…, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth…
Lord God, we have all fallen short of Your glory. ALL of us. Grant us a heart of REPENTANCE, one that truly recognizes the enormity of the debt You paid on our behalf. Set our minds to live in the heart of Your forgiveness ~ in love with You. Give us humility, understanding and courage as we speak to those who have no knowledge of Christ; and grant them repentance.

From 1 Peter 5:1-7
So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” … Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
From Philippians 2
…if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Lord Jesus, we need You to reveal to us the truth of our selfishness and pride. By Your grace, help us to live in HUMILITY, dying to our selves so that You will be lifted up… drawing people to a saving knowledge of Christ. Thank You for Your example of humble surrender to the Father’s amazing plan to redeem. Remind us that God’s plan includes our humble obedience!

And David said to Ornan, “Give me the site of the threshing floor that I may build on it an altar to the Lord—give it to me at its full price—that the plague may be averted from the people.” Then Ornan said to David, “Take it, and let my lord the king do what seems good to him. See, I give the oxen for burnt offerings and the threshing sledges for the wood and the wheat for a grain offering; I give it all.” But King David said to Ornan, “No, but I will buy them for the full price. I will not take for the Lord what is yours, nor offer burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.…”
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
2 Corinthians 9:5-7
So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for the gift you have promised, so that it may be ready as a willing gift, not as an exaction.
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Father God, You bought us at the highest price: the life of Your Son. We often take the magnitude of the cost so lightly; please change that in us. Daily renew our awareness of how great a gift we have been given, and create in us a spirit of giving with thanksgiving. We, and all that we have, belongs to You. Remind us that You bless us to be a blessing! Give us a willingness to ‘hold our hands open’ to You… be welcome to use all that we are and have for Your glory. We want to worship You with the joyful spirit of a gracious GENEROSITY for the building of Your Church.

From Genesis 1&2
God created man in His own image…male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply… fill… subdue… rule….”
God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good.
Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it…
…The man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him. So…The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
From Exodus 35:30-35
“See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel… and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft. And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab… He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer.
From 1 Corinthians 3:8-15
He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.
According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation… Let each one take care how he builds upon it.

But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
“Here is my servant whom I have chosen,
the one I love, in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him,
and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
He will not quarrel or cry out;
no one will hear his voice in the streets.
A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out,
till he has brought justice through to victory.
In his name the nations will put their hope.”
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
God of hope, fix our eyes on You! Your Word assures us that life will not be easy; that, in fact, we will face heartache and distress. But we walk through because You have both gone before and walk beside us. It is this grace in which we stand that gives us cause to rejoice… our HOPE is in You!

The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
…you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.
Matthew 7:21-23, 28-29
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
…when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as one who had authority…
From Philippians 2:10-13
…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. …Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed… work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Lord God, thank You for Jesus… for His finished work of salvation in love for us and obedience to You. Inspire us, as we listen to You, not to simply hear and agree with Your Word but to know You and to also walk in OBEDIENCE.
