During Global Mission Conference, we had the joy of sitting down with Ana Ubeivolc from Beginning of Life in Moldova. Ana shared her powerful story of coming to faith, surviving a serious illness as a teen, and keeping her promise to God by serving vulnerable children. From working with orphans to developing holistic discipleship materials now used across Central Asia, Ana and her team are revealing God’s love in tangible, transformational ways.
Though Moldova faces deep challenges—poverty, emigration, and trauma—Ana reminded us that every person is made in God’s image and deserves dignity, care, and hope. Her heart for healing, her honest reflections, and her gratitude for this global partnership moved us deeply.
What I see in Moldova, when you see these children without any care, without any parental education, you cannot just stay and ignore that, when you are a Christian, a real Christian cannot ignore such problems in their own country. Maybe because I see the real statistics, I see problems inside my country, and I want to respond to these problems.
