- For our partners and us, may God grant us wisdom and discernment to help navigate this incredibly complex situation and how best to respond.

Despite a regional ceasefire agreement between Israel, the US, and Iran, war continues to rage in Lebanon. We are called to pray for peace.
In the case of Lebanon and Israel, the conflict has significantly escalated. “Today feels like chaos” is what one of our partners shared with us on Wednesday morning, as dozens of missiles continue to hit places where friends and partners live and serve. We are keeping in close contact with our partners in the region, and they are keeping us updated in real-time.
An already tense and fragile situation is currently compounding… but God continues to be faithful! His Church is alive and active, and it is asking us to pray.
We want to honour that request by praying together.

We are deeply grieved by the escalating conflict in the Middle East and by the toll it is taking on civilians across the region. This is not distant for us. Through long-standing relationships with partners in the region and people who faithfully call The Peoples Church their home church, this crisis is personal to us. We are praying with heavy hearts for those living in fear, facing instability, carrying the burden of yet another conflict, and for all of those who are here but have family in these affected areas.
As tensions rise, the humanitarian consequences are severe, including displacement, disruption of basic services, and added pressure on communities already made vulnerable by conflict.
We are closely monitoring the situation and remaining in contact with our partners in the region. In the meantime, we invite our church family to pray.
