Cultural Fellowships
Celebrating Cultural Identity in a
Healthy Multicultural Church
Toronto is one of the most multicultural cities in the world and this presents the church with an incredible opportunity to reach people from across the globe right in our own backyard. Cultural Fellowships are connection groups with a welcoming and missional focus based on people’s shared culture and faith. They offer distinctive engagement in God’s global mission by serving the diverse diaspora populations across the GTA while also giving people an opportunity to celebrate their cultural identities in the context of a healthy multicultural body.
Cultural Fellowships:

Encourages diversity (e.g., you can be Filipino and join the Brazilian Fellowship!)

Fosters gospel-centred connections, relationships, and friendships

Engages in Bible-based studies, cultural celebrations, and outreach opportunities

Gathers regularly at least once a month

Are led by spiritually mature Christians who call The Peoples Church home

We were created to be connected with one another. No matter who you are, or where you are on your faith journey, we invite you to join our diverse cultural groups here at The Peoples Church. Cultural Fellowships are where you get to experience the unity of the body of Christ through diversity!
Our current Cultural Fellowships include: Brazilian, Caribbean, Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Latin American, South Asian, and more coming soon!
Peoples Brazilian Fellowship
The Peoples Brazilian Fellowship is a connection group comprised mostly of people with a shared Christian faith and Brazilian culture. Although this is the case, we welcome all people to join us in learning & celebrating together the connection between faith and culture!

Peoples Caribbean Fellowship
The Peoples Caribbean Fellowship is a connection group comprised mostly of people with a shared Christian faith and Caribbean culture. Although this is the case, we welcome all people to join us in learning & celebrating together the connection between faith and culture!
