You Belong
Cultural Groups
We are blessed by a diversity of nationalities represented in our church, so there is a very good chance you will meet others who share your cultural heritage! Our fellowships are welcoming connection groups based on shared culture and faith. We celebrate our cultural identity and diversity as we grow spiritually together in Christ.
Join a Cultural Group
Our cultural fellowships are connection groups comprised mostly of people with a shared Christian faith and culture. Each group welcomes all people to learn and celebrate together at their gatherings.
AFRICAN AND CARIBBEAN FELLOWSHIP
We are a lively mixed group who have journeyed here from various parts of the Caribbean and Africa and have found this adopted family here at Peoples. Whether you’re new to the Peoples Church or have been here for a while, our Fellowship is always open to those who wish to connect, share, and grow the body of Christ together. Our group provides prayer support for anyone in need, ensuring that every member feels valued and connected. We come together for Bible study on Zoom, potluck meals and picnics. Our two annual events are the Black History Month celebration and the charity walk for the Urban Promise organization. The events we host are about more than just fun and food; they’re a chance to strengthen bonds, support each other, and serve our church community. We extend a warm welcome and invite you to become part of our community where culture and togetherness come alive.
