Become Globally Engaged!

You can participate in God’s global mission by praying, giving, and serving.

We pray, give, and serve alongside of committed partners around the world in over 45 mission agencies.

As each of us lives in obedience by serving wherever God has placed us, we join our 201 financially-supported missionaries who serve in over 43 countries in the world.

How You Can Pray

Prayer is effective! One of the best ways we can engage globally is to pray earnestly and wisely.

Global Mission Portfolio

The Global Mission Portfolio is an online tool that provides direct access to prayer updates and the latest news from our global partners. To get started, the web-based application will guide you through a short prayer before you are invited to sign in or create a personal account. As you create your account, you will get to select the partners and regions that God has placed on your heart. As soon as you are signed up, you will be able to access stories from our global partners and ways to pray with them. Each month, you will receive an email with links to access the latest stories customized for you to learn, pray, and stay connected!

How You Can Serve

Serve on Your Frontline

Our greatest mobilization in mission by far is within our own congregation, as each person commits to making their neighbourhood, school, and workplace a daily ministry for sharing the good news of Christ. The mobilization of missionaries in our neighbourhoods and around the world continues to be the primary commitment of our church as we engage in God’s global mission.

Join our Welcoming Ministries

We encourage everyone in our congregation to become engaged in our welcoming ministries. As a global church, we see God at work in global migration and eagerly join Him there.

Here in Toronto, we are intentional about welcoming people well and ensuring that they are integrated into the life of the Church. Our Newcomers Ministry and Refugee Welcome Ministry are our most vibrant outreach ministries. New Canadians are bringing new life to our church and communities!

You can get involved in these exciting ministries by contacting our Refugee Ministries Coordinator, Lara Boghos, and our Newcomers Ministry Pastor, Nelson Chang.

Join our Local Partners

While God has called us to focus on certain ministry areas as a church, we rejoice at what He is doing in and through our brothers and sisters around us. Besides sharing the love of Christ in your daily life, and serving within the ministries of The Peoples Church, you may find strength and challenge to serve with some of our partners who share the same gifts and calling.

Here are a number of organizations in the Toronto area that we are connected to, each with their own commitments to compassion, justice, and evangelism in different realms of the city:

To get connected and serve with our local partners, contact our Mission Project Manager, Fiona Fong.

Visit our Global Partners

In all we do, we seek to build and strengthen relationships with our partners around the world. We have the joy and privilege of visiting and learning from our global partners. When we visit, we experience firsthand how God is at work through his people in various cultures and circumstances.

Mission team experiences are vital components in our discipleship as global Christians. They help us to grow and develop a more informed, global worldview. We go and welcome in order to learn, to encourage, to grow together, and to create strong connections within the Body of Christ.
