Our Welcome & Event Operations serving roles are essential to ensuring everyone feels welcomed and cared for on Sundays and throughout the week at The Peoples Church!

Sunday Welcome Team

Greeters

Join our Sunday Welcome Team to help ensure everyone has a remarkable Sunday experience at The Peoples Church!

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome by greeting congregants as they walk into the church
  • Provide a warm welcome by smiling and waving to people
  • Answer questions or direct people to where they can find an answer
  • Identify First Timers and encourage them to visit the Connection Center to get more information

Relationship, Liaison

  • Reports to respective Team Leaders
  • Connected to Events & Guest Services Director and Campus Operations Director

Time Commitment

  • Sundays – 8am to 10:30am or 10:30am to 1pm or BOTH
  • Once a year training meeting: 2 hours
  • Weekly/Bi-weekly/Monthly serving options available
  • Approximate total time commitment = 10 hours per month

Host Team

To ensure everyone who visits our campus for our Sunday services has a remarkable guest experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome by walking with congregants to their seats and distributing communion elements or special service items when needed
  • Provide a warm welcome by smiling and waving to people
  • Answer questions or direct people to where they can find an answer
  • Identify first time guests and encourage them to visit the Connection Center to get more information

Screening Requirements

  • Police Screening, multiple interviews, and must sign & adhere to the Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Covenant of The Peoples Church
  • Must have attended The Peoples Church for at a minimum of 6 months
Parking Team

To ensure everyone who visits our campus for our Sunday services has a remarkable guest experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome by courteously directing cars to parking spots
  • Provide a warm welcome by smiling and waving to people
  • Answer questions or direct people to where they can find an answer
  • Identify First Timers and encourage them to visit the Connection Center to get more information.
